Ricardo, I think this is one area where you will have to take the word of people who have been shooting the cameras every day, in raw, and developing the photos. They look better. Noise might be the same, but the noise to detail ratio is improved enough to make the photos appear like they were shot a stop lower sometimes.

So what about people who have been shooting cameras like the D3 and D300 for the last three years ALSO alongside Oly gear? (and the same would go for modern Canons as well)
The nikon files are pretty darn sharp. Right on the edge of moire.

Conventional wisdom says that e.g. a FF sensor should be two stops cleaner. Yet many were saying that the gap was actually more in real life. Nobody here wanted to know.

Now at last there is an oly SLR that has a sharp sensor and what appears to be 'normal' noise control. Everyone is raving how the noise in real life is better than the specs would indicate.

Which one is it? if the E5 does actually have better real life performance due to the extra detail, then you have to accept that cameras like the D300 and D3 were always further ahead than people here were prepared to admit.
