Better, when you clone out something be sure you remove anything that's obviously repeating, like the 3 black thingies. There's also a red piece of plastic still there. Attention to detail

This one was actually taken by Sigma 30mm 1.4 at 1.4 hence the blurred background. I thought the ship kind of balances the shot, doesn't it?

Try both and pick the one you like best

I like the lines in this shot. I'd crop it portrait wise and clone out the remaining powerlines:

Much better, now it doesn't look like the bridge starts out of the blue

Another couple, taken on the same day. Unless the birds are large like these below, 250mm becomes very limiting for BIF :(:

In bIFs it's important to see an eye of the subject, though not always a necessity it is easier to relate to the shot.
