Nikon D7000 Test Valid ?
Just a small point. If you look at the Comparison Charts for JPEG and RAW, the items in the set up have moved slightly. For those who look at fine edges, the feathers and strings have shifted position. For Macro shooter's, this slight shift in the Nikon images might be important when thinking about a purchase.
I'm sounding like a Pixel Peeper, rather than a retired Pro, but that small comparison variable is important for certain types of images. I understand what it would take to have done all of the images over. DPP needs to find a way to stabilize each component.
I use a small stuffed animal with rather stiff fur for this type of test. I have used that "critter" since the film days when we tested new films and emulsion changes before we decided to use them. It is nice that photographers no longer need to do tests like that.
