I"m not talking about the external surfaces of the lens here, I'm talking about some rather severe dust INSIDE my lens, in-between the elements.
I can hold my 24-85G ED lens up to the light, hold open the aperture, and run it through its zoom and I see quite a few (15 or so) bits of dust & hair in there.
Where do I take these to be cleaned out? I'm 95% certain that the nikon repair facility doesn't do lenses, but of course, I'm going to call tomorrow.
Where else could I go?
