LX3/LX5 mechanical life

My LX5 is now my walk around camera instead of the Nikon D300 brick that I used to carry everywhere. In fact the LX5 does most things remarkably well and has taken more shots than the D300 over the two months that I've had it. That begs the question: how long will it last? The D300 shutter life is legendary at a design 150K operations and I've had absolutely no problems with mine or with an earlier D200. The LX3 is presumably very similar to the LX5 in mechanical terms and has been around for some time so what, if anything, fails and when? Shutter, zoom/focus mechanism, electronics?
