Does anyone here have friends??

There's already a thread on this — but yes, that was fun.

I'll bet Patrick Jayne (on the TV show "The Mentalist") carries a bag of Oly gear in the trunk of his old Citroen.

Jayne certainly has the smug and irritating part nailed down, making it hard for him to maintain friendships.

(My wife and I love that show!)

Hilarious. :)

Actually, I just had a friend with a D300 over, and we were looking at some of my images. She was shocked at how sharp they were, and was saying that she wished hers looked that good. So it's more like the person who drives a French car and, to everyone's surprise, it's actually good. :)

as far as I know all those silly names refer to maximum aperture, so it isn't hard or subtle.
It's still harder than it needs to be. The names don't tell anything about anything, other than that a Noctilux probably can be shot at night. I had a Panasonic P&S for a long time with a Leica-branded lens, and wondered what the hell "Elmarit" meant, only to find later that it just means f/2.8. Huh?

They shoot with Canon and Nikon, or is it Nikon and Canon?

But they are all new cameras, not like my soulful E510 thats over 3 years old,..... so ancient......
