I find it something to think about, that Pentax has a 200mm f/2.8 crop sensor lens. But, that is not exactly a "crop sensor" field of view.

So where does the DA* 200mm f/2.8 fit into the equation? If they were trying for APS-C equivalent focal lengths, how did they get a 200mm instead of 135mm?


The DA* 200 is our 300, the 300 is our 450!

(but we do need a 135 2.8, IMO. A small Limited would be nice.)
