Hi Steve,

I haven't posted in a while; but I must say that I hate to see you give up your D700.

Maybe Nikon will make a lightweight D700 in the future. That would make me happy also.

However, I agree with other posts that you will be a great photographer no matter what you use. Good luck with your decision and I hop the D7000 works out well for you.
