LX5 A landscapers perspective

Hi guys,

I do some gallery landscape work with my DSLR's, but I love shooting with my compacts also. Picked up the LX5 a week ago and got a chance to go out to a lake on a nice stormy day. My favorite conditions.

I also have the LX3 and the TL500, and a G10 and S90. I really liked the LX5. It handled really well. The focus is right on and it was a lot of fun.

I always try to approach my compacts the same as I would my DSLR's. Always try to get the best out of them. But I like to move quickly and freely.

Anyway, here are just three from that day. I shot manual and shot raw. All were handheld. Very impressed with the IS system on that camera. Developed in LR3 and PS. Just worked the layers exactly how I do my DSLR images. Thought the raws processed really well. The raw files gave me what I was after.

Anyway, thanks for taking a look.

Brian
