How do you produce error with Sigma and a55?

Hi all,

I have 3 Sigma lenses that I have tested all three over and over since I received my a55 yesterday and have not had a single issue. I have tried the camera in nearly every shooting mode, took videos, changed the aperture in manual, switched lenses with the camera on, turned the camera on and off, none of these things have produced any aperture errors on my cam.

I have the Sigma 10mm/2.8 fisheye, the 10-20mm 4-5.6 wide zoom and the 28-105 zoom (the latter is older and wont be repaired). I bought both the fisheye and the wide zoom last year. I called Sigma the other day and they stated both lenses would need to be sent in for a chip replacement.

So far I cannot seem to find any reason to send them in, but can anyone tell me exactly how to recreate the aperture error so I can confirm?

Thanks,
