DP1x - Samples and Flickr Group
There certainly is a warmer color balance with the DP1x compared to the DP1s, but there is no apparent color shift toward the margins in the DP1x, whatever the white balance differences. Whatever the WB, a color shift would still be apparent. For some reason, the right margins of the DP1s images appear more effected by the green cast than the left margins. And I'm not seeing any of this in the DP1x photos in this link. I'm looking to see more examples of DP1x images over time.
It would be interesting to see photos from DP1s users that claim their camera doesn't exhibit this green shift in image margins. Especially busy, colorful or dark images mask the greenish edges, while photos of white walls and the like that run laterally across a scene reveal the color shift clearly--or not, if the camera is really free of the problem.
