...I say that it proved to be effective. An ad campaign that is not noticed is definitively a failure. The more people who disliked it or liked it the more that interacted with it in the way the designers intended.

An ad that sits in the background and is easily ignored can still work but it must be on the subliminal which takes much more effort and research for the ad man. Irritant advertising is the cheapest and easiest approach to take. Thus all those screaming ads for Persian rug warehouses and the like on the one eyed god (TV). If you don't like em, mute. If you don't like this one here, adblock software.

Me, I hate all advertising, but I do like red and black.
