Not another Samyang 85mm 1.4 thread!!! ;)

Anyway, I have the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG Macro (HSM) - Minimum focus distance reduced to 1m (2006) which is known to be a bit soft at 200 at 2.8 and my copy can be depending on the distance between me and my subject. I can be well outside the minimum focus distance, but get soft images, not just soft focus, but other times it can be pleasing.

But why deal with mediocrity when I can sell the zoom, make a bit of money, buy the internet phenom Samyang 85mm 1.4 and have a real nice piece of glass?

I'm not locked into zooms, I don't mind using primes at all. I also don't mind manual focus either since I have a really nice sharp copy of an AIS 50mm 1.8

Which would you do? Keep the Sigma or sell it for the Samyang?
