12. Insert the card in the camera and switch the mode dial to map view. A map should open up, centered on the capitol city of the country specified in the BGMAP.CFG file.
NOTE 1: If you format your SD/SDHC card, the camera will erase the map files. Copy them from the City and Mapview folders you saved on your hard drive.
NOTE 2: In addition to the Samsung imaging site, the entire library of files is here as a torrent download:
http://www.h33t.com/details.php?id=33b88fa83ba8675cca269be6505a07989530376e
or it can be directly downloaded from here:

NOTE 3: The BGMAP.CFG file contains the startup location for your map view. You can change this location by editing the BGMAP.CFG file and putting your own coordinates there. You can find the coordinates for a particular location here:
http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/googleMapLocationv3.php
After you find the coordinates for your desired "home" location, replace the values in the bgmap.cfg file for CEN_LON and CEN_LAT with the longitude and latitude values you obtain on the website.
NOTE 4: Each country map ZIP file contains its own BGMAP.CFG file and the last one you copy to your SD/SDHC card will become your base/default country
That should do it!
