What price?

What price would be "nice" for you? I'm suspecting that if Olympus does end up fighting uphill against negative perception ("same sensor waaaaaa") regardless of the image quality, the price will settle quite quickly to something more palatable. It seems to me that Olympus always prices high initially, then lowers rather than pricing low and maintaining. (Unlike how, for example, Nikon priced the landmark D300 quite low and it maintained its retail price for years).

I'm guessing the E-5 will be $1500 in a couple months. I expect it to be $1200 in a year. That's where I'm looking to purchase. From what I've seen, though, I'm now ready to start some serious saving toward the E-5.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
