Re: Fixed lens

The fixed lens is a blessing and a curse. Fuji is saved from being forced to develop a range of lenses and users are freed from lens lust and confusion over which lens to pack in the bag for a big day out. And it is F2.

The downside is, well, it is fixed, like a single speed bicycle, so you have to zoom with your feet.

They have a unique product, they have a niche, it is going to be a long wait til next year for rattymouse, so Xmas will have to be deferred til January..doh!

PS. That 35mm lens is on an APS-C sensor, so it is equal to a 56mm lens on a FF camera.

Kevin actual FL is 23mm so it IS a 35mm EFL.

I am so wanting one, my most used lartger sensor camera is my E-PL1 with 17mm (35mm EFL)
