Agreed Assuming the Fujinon does NOT have this fallof at F2. But they designed the sensor and the prime just for this cam. And it's about prestige. I think it might shine, they can't afford to blow this one.

However, 35mm isn't too shabby - crop a little and you can easily get a "normal" perspective considering its 12 MP sensor.

Me, I have no problem with 35mm, for a prime it's a rather good FL if you ask me. On the wide side (good!) and still able to do portraits with a blurred BG, at least GF1 portraits with 20mm at 1.7 look good.
