Diagonals--why was this DQ'd??

As long as they are in the photog's gallery the view count will show.

I checked each image right after the DQ'd photographer posted to this thread.

The winning pic in diagonals did not have a diagonal line (the reason I was DQ'd). One of the other top 10 didn't have a diagonal line and barely had a diagonal. It is clear that the host was arbitrary with the DQ's. Using the justification I was given for my DQ the winning entry should have been DQ'd, as well. I think the three images that were DQ'd that show up in this thread could easily have placed in the top 10. After very short exposures on the challenge board one pic had about 20 views, one had about 15 and mine had 10. Makes you wonder.

A logical solution to this problem would be to have some sort of DQ review that involves a 3rd party if the host's justification is weak.

Clearer rules from the hosts would be helpful, too.

As the ancient Roman's liked to say, "Who will guard the guards themselves?"

Some more oversight here would be welcome.
