24/85 Two Prime Combo: is a 50 in the middle necessary?

I'm heading down the two prime combo route, decided against the 35 which I actually waited for all this while. Reason being, I went and did a focal length search and realise that I was shooting at least 60-70% at widest end of my zoom which is 28mm. And I know there were many occasions that I wish I could go wider. I had only 5% or maybe less in the 35mm zone.

Now, for those who get by with a two prime combo, do you ever find yourself wanting a 50 in the middle, just-in-case? I know I could just get a 5/1.8 since its quite cheap, but I'd love to know about user experience and preference on this matter.

any input would be greatly appreciated!
