I have to replace my lost Coolpix S50 (that I was never totally enamored with). I did really like its size and form though.
After doing some research I began to consider the Canon SD780is.
Things I don't like about the SD780:
-would prefer a non-retractable lens
-would prefer to be able to use zoom while recording video
-would prefer a larger screen (than the 2.5" on the SD780
I take a relatively equal amount of indoor and outdoor pictures. And unless I suddenly become motivated to learn, I will almost always take pictures using auto/factory settings.
I would like to keep cost around
Is the 780 the best choice and value, or are there other comparable options?
Thanks!
