Re: One of my favourite landscape photographers

I enjoyed David Wright's photos, especially from wandering about the Sierra Nevada--some are scenes well into the backcountry. I spend many months and summers when younger hiking throughout the Sierras. Photography was limited to a little Minolta rangefinder during the 70's. I spent a few weeks hauling a 4x5 around Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP in 1989 and, a few years later, shooting with a little Century Graphic 2x3 with roll B&W during what passed for our honeymoon when my wife and I hiked through a wild, lightning-blasted Ionian Basin.

I suspect my long walks in the Sierras may be over (just too much that now keeps me bound, plus hints of age), so it is nice to see what someone else can do the the Sigma gear in the range of light.
