I saw this and thought it was a nice counterpoint to the "I didn't need 10000000 iso in 1985, therefor its irrelevant" refrain heard so often here.
Further, I would say that high iso capabilities are even more important in a system with few reasonably priced fast lenses.
For what its worth, ISO 1600 plus the sigma 30mm on my e-620 suits 90% of my low light needs just fine
