It depends on the pixel density

If they try to match the 7D's pixel density and produce a 2.2GP sensor (if my math is right), then the light collected by each sensor will be the same and, all else being equal, light sensitivity will be unchanged.

But using the math of 100x as sensitive, roughly assuming 100x the size (yes, a crude approximation), they would be inferring a 21MP sensor on 202x205mm.

So 21MP on this size a sensor would result in each sensor being 100x the area of a current 7D, so 100x as sensitive to light.

At least that's my guess. I'm sure those more knowledgeable than I will chime in and correct me.
