Just received my GRD I back from service in Germany (the adj wheel issue). I have missed her! I love to hold her in my arms again - may she never leave me! There is no camera more fun in use. IQ might be a matter of taste, but there have been many good moments captured by the beautiful GRD, thanks to this beeing the one and only camera you allways want to bring along at all time. Ricoh; thank you for the GRD - and may the GRD series continue to grow and mature!

I love my GRD I.

However it's at a shop being getting fixed (I hope). I carry it in my coat pocket every day and last week when I took it out it wouldn't focus and then refused to retract the lens. It sounds like something is loose inside the camera. The repairman said it might be a lens group that's slipped out. Didn't sound too promising.

Still, at least I've had a chance to put my Kiev 35mm into good use this last week. Assuming the film wind / rewind mechanism works it makes some rather unique pictures.
