A cloudy day turns into a rainy night in Bruges

Another one of my day and night series - enjoy:

What you're looking at is the big Market Square in Bruges, Belgium.

Technical notes:

Upper daylight pic (on a very cloudy day): K20D with Tamron 18-250@18mm, ISO 100, f5.6, 1/80s. 360 degree pano out of 30 portrait oriented exposures, cropped to an approx. 270 degree viewing angle. 30 exposures where used (quite an overkill normally) to combat vignetting of the Tammy at 18mm and to minimize parallax errors while doing the round hand held. After stitching some fake HDR processing to give some pop to the otherwise drab "cloudy day" pic.

Lower nighttime pic: K20D with DA10-17@10mm, ISO 100, f8.0, 3s for each of 9 landscape oriented exposures on a tripod.

Incidentally this picture illustrates nicely that not the type of lens, but only the point of view is important for the perspective rendered (question of cropping aside). A 10 mm fisheye lens and a 18mm rectilinear lens don't show much differences after processing for the pano. The differences that remain are mainly due to slightly different positions while doing the pano shots: the tripod shots were taken from a slightly lower point of view, and I didn't match the locations exactly - but almost!
