The 11-22mm will autofocus with all Olympus bodies and with the Panasonic L1, L10, G2 and G10 bodies. With G1, GH1 and GF1 bodies, it is manual focus only.

But I'd never use autofocus when recording art work. Setup is critical: I set the camera on a tripod, use bubble level and tape measure to assure that the art work is exactly parallel to the sensor plane, and critical focus manually.

People who say generic things like that without any qualification are uninformed. I get paid to do work like this.
