Translucent? No. Semi-transparent or semi-silvered, yes.

Translucent means a material that transmits diffuse, unclear images without detail. I don't think Sony wants to suggest that. I don't think DPReview should parrot Sony's inaccuracy for the sake of marketing (SLT).

Nice to see Canon's pellicle mirror technology from 1965 resurrected. All hail the Sony homage to the Canon Pellix.
