For me it is absolutely nice. It means I can keep ISO down and get tack sharp images in dim light or I can crank up ISO and get pictures in extreme low light.

At 14mm I can hold my E-P1 still at 1/6s... F3.5 and with an ISO of 400 that is really useful for indoor shoots of stationary targets.

If you are going to shoot social pictures, parties and stuff it does not really matter, since you need a fast speed anyways because people move and even in 1/20s you can't really get sharp pictures because people move.
