Hummingbird BIFs and the FZ35

I got the FZ35 in April mainly for macro shots (like in the last image) and brought it to one of my hummingbird BIF adventures (in a local park only) with the DSLR in the same time frame. The sun was already high when I decided to have fun with the FZ35 on the same subject I just completed with the DSLR.

I overlooked the fact that I was still in ISO400 and the effect at 100% resolution was not that good - details smearing and noise. The ones below were cropped, in jpg and hand held with no TC. PP was basic but a bit more careful than usual to try to preserve details and minimize noise. Just did the PP on the BIFs two nights ago I think (I am very much behind in my processing due to work and home stuffs).

This is my 7th FZ series (FZ10, FZ20, FZ30, FZ4, FZ5, and FZ8) and I still need to play some more for better settings once I get more time.
