Do you take your Rebel on a kayak?

I have taken my rebel many places that put it at risk including, on the beach in the surf, through a sand storm, boating, canoeing, skiing, hiking, rock climbing, flying, offroading, hiking through rivers, slot canyons, swamps, and caves.

It gets a little freaky putting the camera on a tripod and sinking it in a river until the camera is only inches above the water surface, or fully extending the tripod and hanging the camera out over a 1000 foot cliff, but you do what you must to get the picture.

But I am not sure about taking the camera on a kayak. Would you?
