Micro SD in camera to xfer pics to phone for upload???
It seems there are technical issues preventing one from connecting a card reader to a phone so pictures from a camera could be uploaded to the interweb (phones generally don't support USB host mode, although some Nokia phones are reported to). In order to upload I was thinking to use a Micro SD with SD adapter in my camera to capture the images. Then take the same Micro SD out of camera and put it in my phone to upload (i can do resizing either in camera or on my phone).
Some related questions:
-Will a class 6 Micro SD (via adapter) and class 6 'standard' SD perform the same in my camera (same brand/capacity, say SanDisk 8GB)?
-Is the Micro SD any more susceptible to data loss/corruption than the normal SD? I don't plan to upload all pics to web, just blog posts, email, etc. so I don't want to loose anything that's on the card.
Anyone using this setup have any experiences to share?
