image transfer from DSLR to BlackBerry in the field.
I can't help with a solution but wonder how well the micro SD has worked in your camera? I've been investigating the same problem and I think it comes down to the phone needing to be equipped with USB host functionality. Some Nokia phones apparently have this. My Samsung doesn't but it does have a micro SD slot. So I was thinking to use a micro card in an SD adapter to take my pictures then put the micro in the phone to upload.
Other than performance of the micro SD in the camera I'm concerned about data corruption in the micro SD--is it any more susceptible to data loss?
