The RD 2000 has a low trigger voltage, as do all modern flash units designed for digital cameras.

You only need to worry about high trigger voltages if you wish to use an older flash unit originally designed for film cameras. They had little or no sensitive circuitry and so could tolerate higher voltages.

Just to be on the safe side, I'd prefer to buy again. A cheap flash is much less expensive than a replacement GF1 !!!
