Two amazing discoveries

Amazing discovery 1!

I was cleaning out old junk and I came across an Olympus Stylus 3x zoom camera I bought in 1995. This thing is tiny, fits in a pocket easy. Then my brain realized that this is a 35mm FULL FRAME camera and I was blown away. In 1995 they had a FULL FRAME camera that was ridiculously small... and it even had zoom!

Now here's the big question: why can't they come up with a tiny camera that has a full frame digital sensor?

Amazing discovery 2!

I was cleaning out more old junk and I came across a Polaroid instant camera I got as a gift about 20 years ago. Then my brain realized that this camera has a film size about 10x the area of a 35mm full frame. I was blown away again. Imagine, decades ago they had a camera about the size of an SLR that takes LARGE FORMAT size film!

Now here's another big question: why can't they come up with an SLR-size camera that has a 3 to 4 inch digital sensor?
