Outdoor sport - Need lens advice
7D + 30 1.4 + 17-55 2.8
1. Place: Lincoln Financial Field - Philly
2. Event: Soccer - Manchester United Vs Philly
3. Time: Scheduled to start @ 7:30, but I'm guessing 8-10 in the night. Sun set is around 8:30PM
4. I'm seated in Row 6 in the midfield.
I saw few pictures of the stadium and it looks like a good 20-30 feet to the row 1 and about 100 feet to the edge of the pitch. So I would typically about 150 feet from the action. (This is totally my guess)
My question is which lens do I rent?
70-200 IS II with a 1.4x converter (or)
100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS (or)
do away with both and get a super tele prime? I don't think I can use a tripod in there so will have to hand hold it.
I have never shot an outdoor sport nor have I been to this stadium. Any advice would be much appreciated.
