PowerShot SX120 IS lens enclosure size
The SX120 is one of the cameras I'm considering for digiscoping and need to know if I can fit it to my scope. I currently attach my A40 to the scope using an adapter that holds the camera up to the eyepiece but, when the zoom is extended, the lens on my A40 reaches into the eyepiece hood. I expect it would be the same for the SX120, assuming it would fit. The maximum size lens that would fit this adapter appears to be about 44 mm. I spent some time on google, but couldn't find the size anywhere.
So, if some kind SX120 owner would let me know the external diameter of the lens when it is extended, that would be great.
