I've been trying out your method with good success, Englishman. But I wanted to use 1080p 30fps. I stumbled onto a post on Vimeo where someone mentioned that you can use the 1080p/25 DNxHD 185 10-bit setting in Streamclip, and if the source is 30fps your output will also be (or actually, 29.970fps). It works fine for me! MediaInfo (a program like Gspot) verifies the frame-rate.

I've tried it using batch mode and also single-file (non-batch) mode, where you can manually set the fps, but it seems unnecessary.
