Re: Using Sony professionally/limits

Digital cameras may be flexible but seriously, if you always need to achieve professional results, is it reasonable to expect one camera to be good for every sort of job ?

In the past many professional photographers who handled a variety of work used both a m/f camera for e.g. formal & studio shots that requred large prints and high resolution and an SLR for action and low light. They also likely had multiple backs for the m/f camera and multiple SLR bodies and also used different kinds of film in different situations.

The combination of a Sony A900 or A850 and a Nikon D700 might be a solution in your situation. Nikon shooters might suggest a D3S and a D3x - but those cameras are heavy and the D3x body is very expensive.
