Excitement in Photography doesn't always come from perfect equipment

I've received my latest parcel from B&H few days ago, inside it is the cheapest lens i've ever bought, the US$89 Pentax 25mm f/1.4 TV Lens

How big is it?
You can get the idea from the following pictures:

Yes pretty damn small...

And mounted on my gf1 (with a C -> m43 converter)

After playing with it for a few days, i found the lens has very bad sharpness around the edges, severe vignetting, the lens has no fancy technology and of course not even autofocus, and even the bokeh looks very funny.

But for some reasons, it gives me the level of excitement in photography which I haven't got for quite a while!!!

All the problems of this lens suddenly makes me love shooting with this lens.

I call this lens "Technically Awful but Artistically Awesome".

Here are some photos i took with it in the last two days... all are just JPG straight from camera. no editing at all..

Most of them were shot in full manual mode: manual focus, manual exposure, manual white balance..etc
