Shortcut I miss on the K7
The AF mode selector is too stiff (at least on my camera) to operate with the thumb alone while looking through the viewfinder.
Agreed on both counts. But you can always roll the AF mode selector collar to single-point, which returns it to the middle. Going back to manual selection remembers the point you were previously using.
On the K10D, the AF button can be set to return the AF point to the center (when using selectable AF points).
For some reason that seems to have been left out of the K7 firmware.
It would also be nice to be able to turn the top LCD backlight on and off when I want.
