Panasonic 7-14mm or Olympus 9-18mm

Help! I am planning to buy either the 7-14 or the 9-18 but I cannot decide which to get even after going through this forum.

Looking at the dpreview reviews on both lenses, it seems like 7-18 is a better lens when it comes to IQ. Also, it is slightly faster lens than 9-18. Furthermore, its auto focus is fast. The only negative points compared to 9-18 are as followed:

  • 7-14 is larger and heavier.

  • 7-14 cannot fit any filter.

  • 7-14 is much more expensive.

I am leaning towards 7-14 as GH1 does not have image the image stabilizer built in and so 9-18 may be just too slow for GH1. Also, 7-14 does better with CA on GH1. Furthermore, I am assuming that I may be able to take more interesting photos with 7-8mm focal points.

9-18 is attractive as it is much cheaper and compact.
