Smallest so far 18.7mb, largest 26.8mb, mostly around 20mb.

excellent, thanks guys! im making an iphone app for timelapse photography an want to know the various file sizes for some cameras.

Just doing a fresh batch from today & smallest is 16.6mb & largest is 30mb & the average is 22mb .... Flowers & ISO 200 : ) The noisier they are the more data they hold, also more colors makes a difference too .... JMHO ... don't anybody ding me on this with a bunch tech cr@p : ) Took just about as many with my 5D II & the largest is also 30mb & the smallest is 20.4mb.

Nice picture of an iris. Beautiful flower....

Not wanting to add a lot of technical info to what you said, I will add that the more green in your picture the higher the mb.
