I tried comparing it to the ZS7 and the ZS7 looked better up through ISO 400. At ISO 800, the ZS7 still retains a bit more detail but the color is all effed up. At ISO 1600, ZS7 might as well be used as a paperweight.
Up against the HX5V, I think the CX3 wins out in terms of detail. You can really see the difference in processing here since they are using the same sensor. The Sony images look better at high ISO for now, but the CX3 gives you the option of doing NR in post to your own personal preference.
