This is more like it seeing people post beautiful photos to edit with this forum was beginning to become boring. More of this type of photos to edit with I say.

Changed it a bit from the first attempt but still painterly, etc.

I have the full size and will post it if you like it.

Mike, I really love the one that looks like a painting. Were you using a Photoshop? Smudge tool? How did you do it?

Now why do you have to be so negative? Everyone has their own taste, their own take on things, just because you don't like a style, did you really have to descend to this level?

The original post image is just fine and difficult to improve upon.
Sometimes I think we overprocess because we can. .
i tried to just make some little changes.....
