Philosophical question then - Is lack of EV compensation still a 'con' if the shots always come out OK, if not great. Again, for the intended users.

As a sidenote to reviews , it seems easier to point out what users should be aware of, instead of talking about the item the way it is supposed to be used and looking for its positive sides. Not a DPR issue, nor a camera specific issue.

It just seems hard not to first and foremost look for faults, perhaps not to different from the average poster on a forum ...
