I have been looking at the Canon L90 and Brother 2820 fax machines.
Other than the Canon having a faster modem, both appear to have similar features.
Which machine has the better quality, performance, reliability?
I don't do a lot of faxes, but do some scanning and printing these documents for record. I do have a good flat bed scanner and good HP laser b/w printer and Epson 1400 color printer, in my room downstairs, but the fax machine would be by my wife's computer for convenience, upstairs.
I use a software faxing program with my hardware and that would works also. Presently, I am using WinFax Pro on my Win XP Pro computer. That is fine, except that my upcoming new computer is Win 7 and WinFax pro won't work in that OS. (WinFAx was bought out by Symantic about 12 years ago and they have not done anything with and let it die).
