Pentax should design only SDM lenses in future

Hello Pentaxians,

My opinion is Pentax should forget about compatibility with older bodies and start to design only SDM lenses. So there will not be any screw-drive and dual-drive option. I think the dual-drive is the main source of SDM related problems and is responsible for slow SDM speed. Pentax should design full-ring SDM which will be turning with focus mechanics inside the lens directly and not via some gearing as it's now. Ring SDM will add to the speed and prevent against the faults. I think this is the way. So what are you thinking?
