Getting suitable cases makes a big difference in being able to use your gear. I also like the holster style cases. I am not sure about the model you selected, but I like the Lowepro TLZ1. It will handle the camera with either the kit lens or the 55-250 attached. Plus there are some small pockets. The next issue will be carrying lenses. I started with the kit lens, 55-250 (I highly recommend this) and quickly added the 60/2.8 macro and then the 10-22 ultrawide. Each of these lenses will fit into a Lowepro LC1 case and you can easily carry several lenses on a simple web belt or even your regular pants belt. With the lens cases, changing lenses is very quick and easy. Now that you have your DSLR, you need to have and use suitable lenses.
