Advice on MB Pro purchase
I like the new MB Pro 13" model as its small with a long battery life. This makes a nice traveling companion and, at home I would simply run a larger 24" monitor on it. But, I have a friend who will sell me his one or two generation old MB Pro 15" model for $750. This unit has 4MB ram, 160 HD, Core 2 Duo, 8600M graphics.
I am very tempted to go with the older MB Pro 15" since it seems like a good deal, even with battery life that stinks along with it being a heavier machine.
I can afford either. My question is, is there something that the new MB Pro 13" will do that would make it the favored purchase? Or is it a flip of the coin, since they are both Core 2 Duo?
