Sony's next FF body
yes I have bought a a900 in Nov 2008 when it came out along with cz 24-70 and cz16-35 in march 2009. I sold then all my Sony FF stuff having no real time to invest in and bought an Olympus E600 kit.
In fact I was very satisfied with the Sony camera and lenses but can't use them like I had wished.
Now I have more time to spend in photography and I will go back to FF.
Here is your post more than a year ago:
"I have had a Pentax K20D (before a K10D) with a couple of good lenses (16-50 2.8 DA*, Pentax 12-24 F4, 50 FA F1.4) and was never really satisfied with it. Now with my Sony A900 , Zeiss 24-70mm, 50mm 1.7 (in a couple of days a Zeiss 16-35 f2.8) I am really satisfied and have never regret the move."
According to the above you already have Sony FF and Zeiss lenses and are "really satisfied". So, what is your new post and new concerns about?!
I have read in this forum that there are concerns about Sony commitment for enthusiasts DSLR and so I think FF segment to (cameras above a550).
I have bought one week ago a a850 and I'm waiting for the shipping of a CZ 16-35mm and was experting to buy soon a CZ 24-70mm. This investment is quite heavy and it was intended to last for few years (with body upgrade with next FF upgrade).
If Sony will stop development of DSLRs above the a550, I will consider Canon FF.-- hide signature --
